I was perusing a housewares aisle this afternoon when I stumbled upon this appealing, and wonderfully useful little tool.
Only in Texas. A shot glass with measuring spoon measurements.
Initially, I snickered and then walked about three steps before I came to my senses, realizing that I MUST buy this shot glass/measuring spoon.
Maybe this will make me want to cook more. Or buy more whiskey. It’s too soon to tell.

That must be a Texas only item because I have never seen one living in California or Nevada. But I would buy one – just to show it to people.

Funny story. I have one of these, but mine is about 50+ years old.
My grandfather was a doctor and after he died I was helping my mom clean out the house and found the shot glass. His, however, was a freebie promo item from Fleet (yes, THAT Fleet). I totally snagged that sucker & use it all the time.
Of course, he was a doc Texas in the 50′s & 60′s so maybe it is a Texas thing?
